Professional Development

Professional development is an integral part of every teacher’s growth and inspiration. While it is true that our profession mandates on-going educational experiences, at its core professional development should be about personal growth – through learning, through sharing, and through collaboration with others. Expanding our knowledge and reinvigorating our spirit is a personal responsibility we hold as professionals to ensure effective teaching with current skills. WMEA strives to offer a variety of meaningful opportunities for members in collaboration with Wisconsin School Music Association.

Without collaboration our growth is limited to our own perspectives.”
-Robert John Meehan
