Purpose of the Award:
To recognize an elected or appointed public official at the local, state or federal level who, in the course of completing their official duties, demonstrates strong advocacy for the importance of music in a well-rounded education.
Who is Eligible:
Any current or former Wisconsin elected or appointed public official at the local, state or federal level is eligible.
Criteria:
Information gathered should include:
- Indications of support and/or involvement in school music.
- Current and past contributions to school and/or community music activities.
- Indications of leadership in support of school and/or community music opportunities.
- Any other supportive information about the nominee that you can provide.
Deadline:
All materials must be submitted by July 1
