Purpose of the Award:
To recognize a school administrator who is an advocate for the importance of music in a well-rounded education.
Who is Eligible:
Any school principal, superintendent or other administrator who has been in a school district for a minimum of three years.
Criteria:
A letter of recommendation is required and additional supporting information is needed that addresses some of the following criteria:
- Professional experience as a principal, superintendent, or other administrator.
- Leadership or service in the community, state, national, and/or professional.
- Effectiveness such as rapport with staff, students, and the community.
- Any other supportive information about the nominee that you can provide.
Deadline:
All materials must be submitted by July 1
