iListenWI

iListenWI provides educators with valuable listening resources to use with Kindergarten through high school students. Each lesson provides students with a wide array of musical experiences to encourage development of life-long intelligent music listening.

Plans include listening maps, movement ideas, comparative listenings, form analysis and much more for a specific piece of music, composer, genre or culture. WMEA Music Standards are included to ensure success for you and your students. Use the resources throughout a year-long curriculum, create a six week unit or use it to introduce students to listening skills in a one or two week period. All of the plans are flexible to fit what you and your students need.

As a benefit of WMEA membership, the entire set of iListenWI materials are available for FREE through the Account Portal. Simply enter your portal information, go to your image in the upper right hand corner, and open your documents. All are included there. Be sure to take advantage of this membership benefit!
